Welcome to Blakeyblog!

My name is Christa Blakey. The purpose of this blog is to bring glory to the Name of Christ by sharing from the work He is doing in our lives. My husband Bobby is the High School Pastor at Compass Bible Church in Orange County, California. We have a two-year-old son named Tyler and I am thoroughly enjoying life as a full-time homemaker! One of my passions is to see young people live for God and partnering with my husband in ministry has been one of the greatest adventures of my life. 2007 was the best year yet and I am eagerly anticipating what the Lord will do in 2008!

One of our favorite things to do as a family is visit Disneyland together. A fun fact about us is that Bobby and I met in the dishroom at The Master’s College, also where I earned a degree in Biblical Counseling.
